I am super happy with the service from Hypofriend! From my first consultation, which I was very nervous about, Janina really put me at ease. There was no pressure and she really focussed on data and what would be best for me. There was no push for a follow up and she encouraged me to take my time and think about it. When Helge then took over he continued the great support. The team at Hypofriend did so much more than advise on mortgages. They even helped me out with tricky real estate brokers, explained the notary process to me, helped me really understand all the fees so nothing came as a surprise. I don't think Mortgage Advisor really describes what they do well at all, they're true consultancy on how to buy a property in Berlin (or even whether you should buy one at all or invest the money in ETFs). I really wish that more service in Germany was like this and I am hugely grateful to the team now I have my purchase contract in my hand and can look forward to the more fun aspects of moving home!

Absolutely no power in regards to the offer zero negotiation. Better to try it on your own either. 93% low risk Schufa rating is not sufficient, from my opinion this is exploiting the weakness of Consumer. 750 banks is just bragging. Anyways good luck

We wanted to get a financial consultant as being expats, it was an easier way to deal with the banks but unfortunately the results with Hypofriend were not fruitful for us at all. The agent, Cora who was assigned to us, was indeed very helpful but we kept hitting bumps for 3 months with different banks with very odd reasons. Sometimes we were told that Banks were taking abnormally long time to respond back or they had very unusual problem with property documents. All in all, it seems like Hypofriend does not have a good influence on the banks because when we tried switching the finance consultant then our loan was approved in just 4 days from a bank which was never even recommended to us by Hypofriend.
